The Ecopure Eco-8 inline water filter with 1/4″ push fittings uses a special filtration method by combining the many advantages of active ceramic media and the efficiency of granulated activated carbon. This dual stage filtration reduces and removes a wide spectre of contaminants, chemicals and impurities including fluoride, PCB’s, THM’s, lead, barium, chromium, cadmium, selenium, arsenic, mercury, iron and heavy metals. The filter is also effective in removing 99% of chlorine in both cold and hot water, which is especially good for people suffering from chlorine intolerance. Similarly, it kills bacteria such as E-coli and Pseudomonas. The result? Filtered water that is remineralised, non-scaling, alkaline and free from fluoride.
